DUUMI is a fresh music duo made up of two close friends, Otto and Nadīna.
They’ve just released their debut single, "Vienai pašai būt", marking the beginning of their journey in the music scene. Nadīna is the voice and lyricist, while Otto takes the lead on production.
Even though they feel more at home creating music in English, this track came together spontaneously - raw and unfiltered.
This song (and a couple more coming very soon 👀) are rare exceptions in Latvian.
The name DUUMI was born after long hours of brainstorming and vibing with different options - in the end, they just loved how “dūmi” (smoke in Latvian) sounded.
The double U? That’s a subtle nod to both artists.
